It’s time for another update. You’ll notice a few more colors in these images. I’ve “colored” a few of the areas to make them easier to distinguish from the other areas. By no means are these colors/textures/materials final. 🙂
One thing to note about this update, the monorail station is “roughed out” and I haven’t added a great deal of well, details to the model yet. While I was modeling the exit of the station I realized I didn’t have a lot of reference material. So rather than commit a lot of detail to something that is wrong, I thought I’d post what I have so far and see if anyone can confirm/deny the accuracy of the model.
Without further ado, here’s what I have so far:

You’ll notice a lack of glass between the ceiling “arms” that join the entrance, main and exit roofs. I’ll add those later. (Anyone have a picture of those?) You’ll also notice there aren’t any rails on the paths either. That’s one of the details I’ve left out until I’m sure the overall model is correct.

Here we can see the elevators. Anyone have a picture of the elevators? I forgot to get a pic of them last time I was down there.

This is the area where I’m a little unsure.

The division between the walkway and the roof will be more apparent when I add the walkway rails and more detail to the exit paths. My question is, do I have the width of the path correct?

Okay, that’s it for now. My next part of the model will be to build a Mark IV monorail for the station. Of course if anyone finds problems with the station itself, I’ll be making those corrections. I’ll add the details to the station once I’m sure of its accuracy. There’s nothing worse than having to go back and correct a highly detailed model. 😥
